As well as brass, wind, string and choral arrangements for his own projects, Donal has also worked as an arranger and session musician for other artists.
Ciaran Lavery
A rising star who has racked up millions of Spotify plays with his haunting acoustic music. Donal worked as brass arranger on Lavery’s first album Not Nearly Dark.
Malojian
On an album described as “achingly beautiful” by Q Magazine and “a really beautiful record” by Lauren Laverne (BBC 6 Music), Donal again was behind the horn arrangements for Malojian’s The Deer’s Cry.
Ciara O’Neill
Ciara released her debut EP Primroses in 2014 and been described as a “highly recommended” artist (Stuart Bailie, BBC Radio Ulster). With a full album set for release in 2015. Donal worked closely with Ciara in the early development stages of the songs and also played session guitar in the studio.
